Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Father God
Reading : ISAIAH chapter 8
Meditation : take time and consider what is said here about Assyria and about fearing God.
What is God saying to you today from His Word?
What encourages and challenges you?
And then pray in response as your day starts

In worship and thanks for what you have read,
In confession and need to be more like Jesus,
And for others known to you at this time in a place of need)
O LORD God of blessing and of judgment,
receive our morning praise and hear our prayers.
We ask in Jesus’ name.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on the Church in our city at this time
O LORD, hear our prayers and give grace and peace we ask.
Evening
Reading : read the verses again from Isaiah 8
Reflect on these verses at the end of your day
and Pray in response to this God of ours
O LORD God, hear our evening prayers
as we thank You for every blessing you give in Christ Jesus.
