Pray God’s blessing on the Church Family at Ferniehill
O LORD, hear our prayers and bless them all good we ask – even today.

Evening
Reading : read these words again from LUKE 6 verses 12-19
Reflect on the words here and then Pray in response

Thank you Father God for your grace and help and healing this day
Hear our evening prayers we ask
In and through Christ Jesus we pray together, Amen.

Sunday Evening Prayer with Others

As we step into a new week….. with God – together – you may want to revisit today’s Daily Devotions from LUKE chapter 5 verses 17-26 – as we consider TELLING OTHERS THE GOOD NEWS about Jesus through 2023.

We PAUSE with the Lord in prayer as the day closes

We REJOICE in the help and blessings He has given this particular Sunday – to us and to others

We ASK for His presence, peace and strength – for ourselves and for others in our church family and our nation and in our world at this time – especially prayerfully supporting the people of Sudan, Yemen, Ukraine and other parts of our world in deep need at this time

We YIELD – say Yes – to His Kingdom ways for tomorrow

Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from the Living God

Reading : LUKE 5 verses 17-26
Meditation : take time to consider these words on this Sunday.
Jesus heals.
Lowered through the roof!
What words or images stay with you?
What is God teaching/reminding you this morning?

And then pray in response to this Jesus
Naming others known to you in need of a healing touch
Bringing them to Jesus

In Jesus’ Name, Amen

Midday
Pray the Lord’s Prayer as your midday prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven
Hallowed be Your Name.
Your kingdom come
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory.
Now and for ever
Amen

Evening

O LORD, our Great Hope,
We bring our evening sacrifice of praise to you
For who you are
As we acknowledge You our Help even this day.
As we name others in need of your healing touch
As we pray for the Church in all corners of our world
To live and speak of Jesus.
