Thy Kingdom Come – at Midday – Faithfulness and the Cheeky Pandas

As a Church we were part of the global prayer venture earlier this year – Thy Kingdom Come.

This prayer continues around the world!

Each Sunday at Midday we have been re-visiting one of the 11 daily themes….and this time we revisit one of the videos that was released for younger viewers….. Series 2 with the Cheeky Pandas – The Bouncy Castle – a story about FAITHFULNESS.

Daily Devotions for Sunday 18th September, 2022

Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from the Living God

Reading : ROMANS 11 verses 33-36

Meditation : take time and consider this passage again this Sunday morning.
The Depth of Riches.
The Mind of the LORD.

What do these words mean for you today?
What is God teaching/reminding you about Himself?

And then pray in response – using these verses as you turn to prayer
Come to Him with open arms
Naming others known to you seeking spiritual life and truth

In Jesus’ Name, Amen!

Midday
Pray the Prayer for the Month as your own midday prayer

How good it is to give thanks to you, O LORD.
We sing and dance with joy!
How great are your ways, O LORD.
We sing and dance with joy!

You forgive my sin and cleanse me within
I sing and dance with joy!
You help me and guide me
I sing and dance with joy!

Praise the LORD all His people
We sing and dance with joy!
Praise the LORD all His creatures
We sing and dance with joy!

Evening
Reading : read these particular verses again from ROMANS 11 verses 33-36
Reflect on the truths behind the words and then Pray in response to this God

I say to the LORD, “You are my God.”
Hear my cry for help, LORD!
My Sovereign LORD, my strong defender,
you have protected me in battle.

O LORD, hear our evening prayers we ask
As we thank you for the blessings of this Sunday
As we believe and trust in you
As we name others seeking you
As we pilgrimage on into this new week

Daily Devotions for Saturday 17th September, 2022

Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God, the Holy Spirit

Reading : ROMANS 11 verses 33-36

Meditation : take the time to consider these great words about God this Saturday morning.
Praise and Glory to God!
What are you encouraged and challenged by?
Which words stay with you as your day starts?

And then take time to Pray and Praise in response to this God

Amen we pray together this new day.

Midday
Pray the Lord’s Prayer as your midday prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven
Hallowed be Your Name.
Your kingdom come
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory.
Now and for ever
Amen

Rejecting the Good News.
Disobeying God.
Receiving God’s Mercy

God of all Wisdom, hear our prayers and bless them real good we ask

Reflect on the truths behind the words and pray in response to our God of rich mercy

O LORD, hear our evening prayers
As we return our thanks to you
For all you have done for us
We believe
Help our unbelief

Reading : ROMANS 11 verses 25-27

Meditation : take time and consider this part of the chapter this morning.
God’s Mercy on All.
What is God teaching/reminding you?
What words stay with you?

And then pray in response – as your day starts

Pray your own words of faith and trust to the LORD our God.
Pray with thanksgiving.

Father God…hear our prayers and bless each and all we ask.
