Daily Devotions for Saturday 17th September, 2022

Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God, the Holy Spirit

Reading : ROMANS 11 verses 33-36

Meditation : take the time to consider these great words about God this Saturday morning.
Praise and Glory to God!
What are you encouraged and challenged by?
Which words stay with you as your day starts?

And then take time to Pray and Praise in response to this God

Amen we pray together this new day.

Midday
Pray the Lord’s Prayer as your midday prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven
Hallowed be Your Name.
Your kingdom come
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory.
Now and for ever
Amen

Evening
Reading : read the verses again from ROMANS 11 verses 33-36
Reflect on the truths behind the words…. and then Pray in response to what you have read
This is our God!

Praise my soul the King of heaven!
To God be the glory
Great things He has done!

In Jesus’ name, Amen and Amen!

As we step into a busy Sunday – with God – together – you may want to revisit today’s Daily Devotions from ROMANS chapter 11 verses 1-6– as we continue to consider the GOOD NEWS about Jesus through 2022

We PAUSE with the Lord in prayer as the day closes

We REJOICE in the blessings He has given this Saturday – to us and to others

We ASK for His presence, peace and strength – for ourselves and for others in our nation at this significant time

We YIELD – say Yes – to His Kingdom ways – as the Crown passes

God’s Mercy on Israel.

What is God saying to you from His Word?

For our nation at this significant time
For our world
Giving thanks that God is a God of Mercy

LORD
I look up to you,
Up to heaven, where you rule.

Hear my morning prayer
Hear the morning prayers of your people

Give blessings we ask

In Jesus’ name.
Amen

God and Mercy.
What do they mean for you today?

And then Pray in response to what you read – to this God of ours.
Pray for God’s mercy for yourself and for another

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done across our world
In our community, in our city.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
