Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Jesus

Reading : ISAIAH chapter 52 v13 – ch.53 v12

Meditation : take time and consider all that is said here.
The Suffering and Glory of the Servant
What images or words stay with you?
What is God saying to you today from His Word?

And then pray in response – as your day starts
Giving thanks for Jesus, the Servant King
Naming others in a place of suffering at this time

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Midday

Pray God’s blessing on children and families in Kenya
Father God, hear our prayers and bless them real good we ask

Evening
Reading : read this passage again from ISAIAH chapter 52 v13 – ch.53 v12 – in another version?
Reflect on the words and images here and pray in response to our Servant King

O LORD, hear our evening prayers
As we return our thanks to you
For all you have done for us
In Christ, Son of God
Through Christ, Son of Man

Reading : PHILIPPIANS 2 verses 1-11

Meditation : As we pause with Jesus this morning…
We slow down and take time to consider these words about Him.

And then take time to Pray in response to Christ, Saviour and Lord
Confessing. Receiving. Asking.

P-ause as we consider our Servant King
R-ejoice in who Jesus is
A-sk to be more like Him – even today
Y-ield to follow Him closer today

Amen we pray together this new day.

Midday
Pray the Prayer for the Month as your midday prayer

Be still and know

Be still my restless mind

Be still with God

Be still in this world

Be still in my life

Be still and trust God

In Jesus’ name
Amen

Evening
Reading : read the verses again from PHILIPPIANS 2
Reflect on the words…. and then Pause to Pray in response to what you have read

Turn your eyes upon Jesus
Look full in His wonderful face
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim
In the light of His glory and grace
