Keeping in Touch

We have a variety of ways that we try to keep in touch with you

Online

Website

We hope you find this website of interest and that it gives you a good idea of life at Liberton Kirk containing the information you need. Things can always be improved, so if you have any feedback or suggestions, please use our general Contact Us form to do this.

Email

One of the key ways we keep in touch is via email. There are a number of email addresses we use for this (see the Magazine for details), with a key one being the Roll Keeper email rollkeeper@libertonkirk.net.

Emails are send out each week containing links to enable you to join our 11am Sunday service online via Zoom and YouTube as well as other news and information we think will be of interest. Please get in touch using the Roll Keeper address if you want to be added to our email list.

Social Media

We are also present on Facebook, Instagram and have a YouTube Channel where you can see videos of our weekly sermons, weekly Reflections which are short talks reflecting the bible verse of the week, as well as other videos we think will be of interest.

Publications

Magazine

This is published nine times a year in February, March, April, May, June, September,October, November and December. We hand deliver magazines to households by request. The September magazine is a bumper edition which we hand deliver to all households in the Liberton Kirk Worship Community.

Magazines can also be picked up in the Kirk and at the Kirk Centre. We also email the magazine to those in our Email Distribution list.

Magazines are also on the website. The more recent magazines can be found here and those going all the way back to 2014 can be found here.

Sunday Notice Sheets

A combined Order of Service and Notices is published each week for the Sunday services. This details what’s coming up in the coming week and shortly thereafter, together with key news items. They can be picked up in the Kirk and at the Kirk Centre

They are also emailed to those in our Email Distribution list and are also on the website. The more recent Notices can be found here, and those going back to 2021 can be found here.

News Extra

This is an occasional newsletter that is primarily aimed at those who find it a bit more difficult to get to church services. It details items and pictures of interest that we think will be on interest and is hand-delivered on request. They can also be found here.

Face to Face

There are a numbers ways we try to keep in touch with people for pastoral care, or as part of pastoral and social groups that you can join, or at the variety of events that we hold throughout the year.

For pastoral care, you can speak with any elder on duty at the kirk services to arrange something or just have a chat to see if there is something that works for you. You can also email minister@libertonkirk.net or rollkeeper@libertonkirk.net for more information.

Have a look at the Kirk Life section above for a selection of groups and activities. There are other activities and events which are publicised on the various notice boards around the Kirk and Kirk Centre.
