Sundays

There are three opportunities to join together in worship on Sundays and each of these services has a different feel and will suit different people. All are welcome at any of them. Children are welcome to stay in church for either of the morning services if they so wish, although there is a special programme for them at the 11am service.

9.30am Service in the Kirk

This is a short (about 45 minutes) traditional service with organ music. A quieter, more formal time of worship. On the first Sunday of March, June and October there is a Scots Communion included, where anyone who believes in Jesus as their Saviour and Lord can join in a circle to pass round the bread and wine.

After the service each Sunday tea or coffee is available in the Kirk Centre across the road.

11am Service in the Kirk and on Zoom

This is a longer (about 75 minutes)contemporary worship service with Creche and Sunday Club. There are worship songs with a Praise Band, and organ hymns. Children can leave if they wish after an all-age section of worship (about 20 minutes) for their own programmes in the Kirk Centre. On Communion Sundays (the first Sunday in March, June and October) the children meet in the Kirk Centre and come into church towards the end of the service time to join their families for the Communion.

After the service each Sunday the Prayer Team is on hand in the church if anyone wishes to talk or pray, and tea or coffee is available in the Kirk Centre across the road.

This service is streamed on Zoom every Sunday for those who cannot make it to church. If you would like to join us or would like more information please contact Gary Ross, our Rollkeeper.

July/August and Two Sundays at Christmas

There is one morning service at 10.30am – details on the notice boards or the Sunday Preview.

6.30pm Cafe Church in the Kirk Centre

On Sunday evenings (excluding the last one in the month) there is an informal service in the Kirk Centre Cafe area.

This service starts with relaxed conversation over barista-style coffee, teas or soft-drinks, while nibbling on home baking, before joining in fellowship through praise and prayer to God. There is a short talk, followed by group discussions reflecting on various spiritual subjects.
