Worship and Prayer

Worship and prayer are at the heart of everything we do at Liberton Kirk and it goes with us into our daily lives through the week.

We believe it is right to spend time worshipping the God who made us and loves us, the God who sent his Son to die on the cross to save us from our sins and raised him to life to give us hope of a life everlasting. We believe it is good to learn more about our God through reading and Bible study and discussion. We believe in prayer at all times and in all places to draw us ever closer to God, but especially at times when we are seeking to do his work in the world and doing something in his name.

We believe in encouraging all kinds of people of all ages to worship God and to pray, and we hope that you will find encouragement in these pages to do so.
