Reading: JUDE verses 17-23.
Meditation: as we pause with Jesus, we consider these words.
- Build yourself up
- Pray in the Holy Spirit
And then pray to this God we believe in.
Lord, protect us this day
against those who would wish to divide us.
Protection against those you was lead us from You
and tempt us with our mortal desires.
It is only through Your love and mercy
that we can wear protection.
In Your name, amen.
Midday:
Pray the words of the Lord’s Prayer as your own prayer today.
Our Father, who art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the Kingdom,
the power and the glory, forever.
Amen.
Evening:
Read the verses again from JUDE verses 17-23.
Reflect and pray in response to what you read.
Lord Jesus, gateway to eternal life,
You are the cornerstone,
on which our faith is built.
We pray through Your holy Spirit,
as we wait for mercy.
