Meditation: we take time to consider these words this morning.
“Here I am”
And then we pray to this God in response.
Father God, who calls to us,
we respond to Your words.
Here we are, Lord,
to be Your instrument.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
Midday:
Pray the words of the Prayer for the Month as your own prayer.
Father God, provider and protector,
we cry to You with our deepest desires.
Then listen to Your response.
Help us discern Your voice,
and trust in Your deliverance.
When we battle against our foe,
You are all the armour that we need.
With you as our shield and sword,
we cannot fail.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
Evening:
Read these set words again from 1 SAMUEL Chapter 3.
Reflect and then pray to this God of ours.
Lord in heaven, our Father and friend,
You have always shown yourself to Your followers.
Come to us as You did to Samuel,
bestowing on us the confidence to share Your vision.
In the name of Your son, Jesus, amen.
