Morning:
Reading: 1 SAMUEL 25:1-13.
Meditation: as we pause with God today, we consider these truths.
And then respond in prayer with Him –asking, seeking, knocking on Heaven’s door..
Father God, You sometimes send us to unknown places,
help us to follow in obedience.
We ask for guidance as to where to go,
and seek Your wisdom to understand why.
When we arrive, we trust that provision will be given.
In Jesus’ name we pray, amen.
Midday:
Take time to listen for God to speak with you – ask, seek, knock – hear!
We are here Lord, we knock, we seek, we hear, amen.
Evening:
Read the words again from 1 SAMUEL 25:1-13.
Reflect and then pray in response to our God.
Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ,
You always deliver our hearts to peace,
we ask the same of our bodies.
You have already won the battle,
but fighting is sometimes still needed.
You have equipped us in Your armour,
to stand beside You.
In Your name, amen.
