Morning:
Reading: 1 SAMUEL 25:36-44.
Meditation: consider this passage as this new day begins.
And then respond in prayer to this God, our God.
Heavenly Father, You plan is perfect.
We ask for patience and understanding
in place of our puzzlement.
And for patience to endure in our heart
as we wait for You.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
Midday:
We pray God’s blessing on members of our link groups.
We thank You for the fellowship and support provided in these groups, amen.
Evening:
Read the verses again from 1 SAMUEL 25:36-44.
Reflect on all that is said here and then pray to this God we believe in.
Lord Jesus, You came not to be served but to serve,
and now you sit on a heavenly throne.
We are reminded this evening of the importance
to be prostrate and serve,
so we re-iterate those same words:
“I am your servant and I am ready to serve you”,
Lord, we are, please use us.
