Morning:
Reading: MARK 15:21-41.
Meditation: as we pause with God, we consider these words this significant morning.
“Surely this man was the Son of God!”
And then pray in response.
“Lord Jesus, on this Good Friday,
we think about the cross.
What would we have thought,
how would we have acted,
what would we have said,
in we were there?
Would we have watched Your miracles,
and seen Your deeds,
and listened to Your words,
and called out the words
‘Surely, You are the Son of God!’
In Your name, amen.
Midday:
We pray God’s blessing on those on our church Prayer List.
For those who need Your help, pour out Your blessings. Amen.
Evening:
Read these words again from MARK 15:21-41.
Take time to reflect and pray to this God.
Lord Jesus, no words of thanks,
would ever be enough to convey
our gratitude for what you endured
on Good Friday.
Therefore, we will rest in Your presence,
this evening in wonder at Your power
of resurrection.
In Your name, amen.
