Reading: PSALM 72
Morning:
Reading: PSALM 72.
Mediation: as we pause with Jesus, we take time to consider these words.
“Then all nations will be blessed through him, and they will call him blessed”
And then pray to this God.
Heavenly Father, the true King of this world,
We surrender our lives to your rule.
But those in authority in this world,
are often creating chaos and destructions.
We ask blessing on those in power,
that they seek guidance from you,
that your blessing will be given to them and their deeds.
We ask for protection in this world,
in Jesus’ name, amen.
Midday:
Pray the words of the Lord’s Prayer as your own prayer today.
Our Father, who art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the Kingdom,
the power and the glory, forever.
Amen.
Evening:
Read the verses again from PSALM 72.
Reflect and pray in response to what you read.
Praise the Lord!
We praise you.
All glory to you name forever!
We worship at your feet.
We shout your name,
with the everlasting breathe of the Spirit.
In your name, we pray, amen.
