- Forgiveness
- Grace
And then pray in response
Lord God, bestower of forgiveness and grace,
we dedicate this day to you.
To be one of mercy and reconciliation.
Let our hearts overflow with love,
and not be consumed with hate.
In Jesus’ name we pray, amen.
Midday:
We pray God’s blessing on those waiting a medical appointment.
May the wait be short and patient we plentiful, amen.
Evening:
Read the verses again from 2 SAMUEL 19:16-43.
Reflect and then pray to this God in response.
Lord God, you are the supreme leader.
We are sorry when we put our agenda before yours,
exiling you from our hearts.
Help us to reconnect with you,
paving the road back to the throne.
We reestablish you as the King in our lives.
We worship at your feet.
Praise you, Lord!
