Reading: 2 SAMUEL 22:17-31
Morning:
Reading: 2 SAMUEL 22:17-31.
Meditation: we take time to consider these words this Sunday morning.
“You, Lord, are my lamp; the Lord turns my darkness into light.”
And then we pray to this God in response.
Father of our heart, Lord on high,
You reach for us and hold us tight,
drawing us out of deep waters.
He deliver us from our enemies,
protecting us from those stronger than us.
You support us when we face disaster,
and bring us to a space of peace.
All this you do, because you love us.
And for this, we worship you, amen.
Midday:
Pray the words of the Prayer for the Month as your own prayer.
Heavenly Father, Saviour Jesus and Holy Spirit,
protect us from our weaknesses
and deliver us from despair.
We look to you in our suffering,
and raise our voices in worship.
All praise is given to your name, amen.
Evening:
Read these set words again from 2 SAMUEL 22:17-31.
Reflect and then pray to this God of ours.
Lord God, your way is perfect!
Your word is flawless
and your Son, Jesus, is our deliverer.
You are always there when we turn to you.
For this all praise it due to you, amen.
