Morning:
Reading: 2 SAMUEL 5:17-25.
Meditation: as we pause with God, we take the time to consider these words.
“…inquired of the Lord, “Shall I…”
And then pray in response to this God.
Lord God, omniscient confidante,
we sit in Your presence this morning,
asking “shall I?”.
Help us always turn to You for guidance,
in trust that You will never lead us wrong.
We give our lives to Your will, not ours.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
Midday:
We pray God’s blessing on those on our Church Prayer List.
For those who need Your help, pour out Your blessings. Amen.
Evening:
Read these words again from 2 SAMUEL 5:17-25.
Take time to reflect and pray to Father God.
Father in heaven, we come now to sit in Your presence.
We reflect on our choices from today:
did we turn to You for direction?
Did we blunder into situations without thinking?
Lord, show us where we followed You
and guide us for tomorrow.
