Meditation: as we pause with God, we take the time to consider these verses.
“he has turned away from me and has not carried out my instructions.”
And then pray in response to God.
Holy Father, we hope You never say those words about us.
We ask for the courage to listen and follow Your instructions.
Even though we know we will fail,
we trust You to reset our path towards You.

Evening:
Read these words again from 1 SAMUEL 15:1-11.
Take time to reflect and pray to Father God.
Lord Jesus, our guide and shepherd,
we listen to Your commands and follow the voice of our leader.
As we rest and reflect, show us where we erred this day,
and guide to hold steady to Your example tomorrow.
