Holy Father, our truest guide.
It is only your path that we must follow.
Let us only be guided by the truest of advice.
Set those in our lives,
that only pass on your instructions.
In your son’s name, amen.
Midday:
We pray God’s blessing on our friends and colleagues.
For those we love, bring love, health and happiness, amen.
Evening.
Read the verses again from 2 SAMUEL 16:15-23.
Reflect and then pray to this God in response.
Lord and Father, your wisdom is unrivalled.
We plead for discernment this evening.
For ears open only to your words.
Help us to be the voice of truth to others,
giving only godly advice,
with humility and compassion.
To you we praise, amen.
