Reading: 2 SAMUEL 7:18-29
Morning:
Reading: 2 SAMUEL 7:18-29.
Meditation: as we pause with God, we take the time to consider these particular words today.
“may it please you to bless the house of your servant, … and when you grant a blessing to your servant, O Sovereign Lord, it is an eternal blessing!”
And then pray in response.
Lord God, we enter Your presence
at the beginning of this new week,
to still ourselves before You.
We spend this time remembering
the blessings You have given us.
We pause before asking for anything,
and give our praise to You for Your eternal provision.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
Midday:
We pray God’s blessing on SEECAT group of churches.
Evening:
Read the verses again from 2 SAMUEL 7:18-29.
Reflect and then pray to this God in response.
Jesus, Lord and Saviour,
descendant of David,
You are the greatest of his line.
You are the grandest blessing ever given.
All glory and praise to You, amen.
