And then pray in response.
Lord, protect us this day from the weaknesses in our lives;
from those temptations that will pull us from Your ways.
Include us in Your victory,
for we recognise Your authority and power.
Open our ears to Your words.
In Your name, amen.
Midday:
Pray the words of the Lord’s Prayer as your own prayer today.
Our Father, who art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the Kingdom,
the power and the glory, forever.
Amen.
Evening:
Read the verses again from REVELATION 2:18-29.
Reflect and then pray to this God in response.
Lord, help us continue to grow
in love, and faith.
To grow in our service and perseverance,
walking only Your path.
