Meditation: as we pause with Jesus, we take time to consider these words and truths again.
- Redemption
- Reunion
And then pray to our God.
Lord God, the steadfast King.
We ask Lord for your protection.
Please send us messenger to help us check our behaviour,
someone to hold us accountable for our temptations.
Help us turn to you.
In Jesus’ name, amen
Midday:
Pray the words of the Lord’s Prayer as your own prayer today.
Our Father, who art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the Kingdom,
the power and the glory, forever.
Amen.
Evening:
Read the verses again from 2 SAMUEL chapter 12.
Reflect and pray in response to what you read.
Lord Jesus, our rock and salvation.
Help us to stay close to you.
We reflect this evening on our action which take us away from you.
Help us to walk your path.
In your name, we pray, amen .
