Reading: LUKE 1:26-38
Morning:
Reading: LUKE 1:26-38.
Meditation: As we pause with God today, we consider these truths.
“You who are highly favoured… you have found favour with God”
And then we take the time to respond in prayer with Him – asking, seeking, knocking
Lord Jesus, each day is one day closer
the important celebration of Your first coming.
We hope this day that we honour you
so greatly that we are held in Your favour.
Help us to not fear what You call us to do,
and to respond with “I am the Your servant!”
In Jesus’ name, amen.
Midday:
Pray the words of the Prayer for the Month as your own prayer.
Father God, in the final month of this year,
we look back over all that has happened.
In both the good and the bad,
we look in thanks at Your provision.
For You have always provided for us,
from the beginning of the world,
to the end of days.
And during this advent time,
we reflect on the birth of Your son, Jesus.
But praise Him as a risen man.
In His name, Amen.
Evening:
Read the words again from LUKE 1:26-38.
Reflect and then pray in response to our God.
Lord Jesus, all praise to You this evening.
All glory and honour is due to You.
We ask for peace, love, warmth and provision for all,
this Christmas time.
In Your name, amen.
