Morning:
Reading: 2 SAMUEL 7:1-17.
Mediation: we take time to consider these words this Sunday morning.
“my love will never be taken away from him”
And then we pray to this God in response.
Heavenly Father, faithful King,
We thank You for the love that You have given us.
You have counted us within Your family
and will never refuse to love those You call You own.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
Midday:
Pray the words of the Prayer for the Month as your own prayer.
Lord Jesus, in this month of Easter,
we meditate on the empty cross.
The heavy burden that was pinned with You,
is our sins, not Yours.
The path was set by Your love,
then death was triumphed over by Your power.
It is that same power,
that guides our lives,
touches our hearts and renews our soul.
All praise to You, amen.
Evening:
Read these set words again from 2 SAMUEL 7:1-17.
Reflect and then pray to this God of ours.
Lord God, we invite You to be the Lord of our lives.
We ask that You establish a house in our hearts.
That Your kingdom is build strongly in us,
and witnessed in our lives.
