- Standing firm in faith
And then pray to this God.
Father God, help us stand firm this day.
We thank you for sending Your Son
to be our example for how to live.
Help us today to reject the wrong
and choose the right.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
Midday:
We pray God’s blessing on those on our Christmas cards lists.
To all we think of this Christmas, bring peace, love and joy, amen.
Evening:
Read the verses again from ISAIAH 7:1-17.
Reflect and pray in response to what you read.
Lord Jesus, Immanuel,
thank You for coming to Earth.
Forgive us when we forget to follow Your example.
When we lack patience and trust in Your plan.
Help us to stand firm in our faith,
and search for the signs that You give.
