Morning:
Reading: MARK 15:16-20.
Meditation: consider these particular words this new morning.
And then respond in prayer to this God, our God.
Lord God, our God, our Saviour,
in the midst of this Holy Week,
we meditate on Your experience on Earth.
You faced such horrific persecution
at the hands of those You love.
Help us remember Your bravery,
for any hardships we encounter in our own lives.
In Your name, amen.
Midday:
We pray God’s blessing on churches across Edinburgh.
Lord God, we pray for revival and passion to be ignited in this city, amen.
Evening:
Read the set verses again from MARK 15:16-20.
Reflect on what is said here and then pray.
Lord God, on the eve of Good Friday,
we ask for nothing,
and reflect of the what tomorrow means.
We simply enter into your presence,
and bask in Your glory.
We spend this time,
in companionship with our King.
We worship and praise You, amen.
