Morning:
Reading: 1 SAMUEL chapter 29.
Meditation: consider this passage this new morning.
And then respond in prayer to this God, our God.
Lord God, omniscient Father,
we come into your presence this morning,
seeking protection.
Our human weakness can sometimes
lead us away from You,
and result in us fighting against You.
We thank You and ask You to intervene
in our lives or those we love
that need Your divine, perfect intervention,
back to You.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
Midday:
We pray God’s blessing on the Church across the UK.
Bring unity and revival in this country, amen.
Evening:
Read the set verses again from 1 SAMUEL chapter 29.
Reflect on what is said here and then pray to this God we believe in.
Lord God, we turn again to You this evening.
We hope that we have made You proud of us this day.
We ask that we have listened and followed You,
and been aware of Your beautiful timing in our lives.
