Morning:
Reading: MICAH chapter 5.
Meditation: as we pause with God today, we consider this passage this morning.
“He will stand and shepherd his flock in the strength of the Lord”
And then respond in prayer to this God.
Sovereign Lord, You speak to Your people.
Through the prophets, You told of the good shepherd,
who was to come to save.
It is Your son, Jesus, who came,
who saved the world.
Help us to remember His coming
at this Christmas time.
In Jesus name, amen.
Midday:
Be still and know the peace of God as you ask, seek and knock.
We are here Lord, we knock, we seek, we hear, amen.
Evening:
Read the set verses again from MICAH chapter 5.
Reflect on all that is said here and then turn to pray to this God we believe in.
Lord Jesus, help us to focus on Your message
in this busy Christmas time.
Encourage us to shout your triumphant message to all.
