Reading: HEBREWS 4:4-16.
Meditation: as we pause with God today we consider these truths.
- Enter that rest
- Approach God with confidence
And then respond in prayer with Him.
Father, in the busyness of life,
we can easily forget to rest.
Show us Lord, how to rest in You.
And in that rest, to listen for and to You.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
Midday:
Take time to listen for God to speak with you – ask, seek, knock – hear!
We are here Lord, knocking, seeking, asking and listening. Amen.
Evening:
Read the words again from HEBREWS 4:4-16.
Reflect and then pray in response to our God.
Lord, we approach Your throne in confidence,
thanking You for the grace and mercy
You freely grant to us.
