Reading: MARK 15:1-15.
Meditation: pause and listen with God this morning. Consider what is said here.
“Crucify him!” they shouted.”
Then turn to pray to this God.
Lord Jesus, You are the greatest example to all of us.
The perfect display of bravery.
We are sorry that Your people called for Your death.
And pray that we never betray You in such a way.
Help us this day to be true to You.
In Your name, amen.
Midday:
We pray God’s blessing on our wider SEECOS Church family.
Bring love, provision and support to all we love, amen.
Evening:
Read the words again from MARK 15:1-15.
Reflect and then pray to the LORD our God.
Lord God, Father in heaven,
What sorrow You much have felt
watching Your Son being beaten.
Even though Your will in perfect,
pain could not be avoided.
We spend time, this evening, in gratitude.
We reflect on the path Jesus took in Holy Week.
We praise Him for that sacrifice.
The death that he endured, for us.
In His name, amen.
