Reading: PSALM 88
Morning:
Reading: PSALM 88.
Meditation: pause and listen with God this morning. Consider what is said here.
“But I cry to you for help, Lord; in the morning my prayer comes before you.”
Then turn to pray to this God of mercy.
Lord, you are the God who saves us,
we cry out to you,
we bring our prayers to you.
Sometimes we feel that an expanse is between us.
For those of us that we feel cut off,
shine your light on the path to reunion.
For those who feel your presence close,
place in our minds the one we can support.
In your name, amen.
Midday:
We pray God’s blessing on our wider SEECOS Church family.
Bring unity and love to our church, amen.
Evening:
Read the words again from PSALM 88.
Reflect and then pray to the LORD our God.
Lord Jesus, we can only imagine the pain that you endured.
But many of us know the journey of suffering.
We ask for healing for our pains,
forgiveness to those who have hurt us
and freedom from bitterness
into the grace that you show us how to give.
In your name, amen.
