Reading: 2 SAMUEL chapter 9.
Meditation: pause with God as the day starts. Prayerfully consider these words written here.
- Kindness
- loyalty
And then turn to pray to Him.
Lord God, the kindest Father.
You have promised us salvation,
and still we sometimes hide in fear.
The gift of Your son,
is greater than any given ever,
Help us to accept that gift,
and enjoy our welcome at Your table.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
Midday:
We pray God’s blessing on Big Idea group of churches.
Bring joy, laughter and continued work through all the Churches in our area, amen.
Evening:
Read the verses again for 2 SAMUEL chapter 9.
Reflect and then pray to the LORD our God.
Lord God, we look back this day.
Did we hold to our promises?
Did we stand firm with integrity?
Did we show kindness to someone we could easily shun?
Show us our achievement and our failures,
so we can repeat or redo tomorrow,
