Morning:
Reading: 1 SAMUEL Chapter 8.
Meditation: as we pause with God, take time to consider these particular words today.
“so he prayed to the Lord”
And then pray in response.
Heavenly Father, always present.
Thank You that you listen when we call to You.
Remind us this day, as Samuel did,
to turn to You when we need guidance.
For we trust that You will never fail us.
In Jesus name, amen.
Midday:
We pray God’s blessing on the wider SEECOS family.
Bring blessing and unity in Your church, for Your glory, amen.
Evening:
Read the verses again from 1 SAMUEL chapter 8.
Reflect and then pray to this God in response.
Lord Jesus, our wonderful counsellor,
there is no one we can rely on more than You.
Even when those around us,
refuse to hear Your words,
gift us with discernment and faith
to follow Your commands.
