Morning:
Reading: 1 SAMUEL Chapter 24.
Meditation: as we pause with God, we take the time to consider these particular words today.
“May the Lord reward you well for the way you treated me today.”
And then pray in response.
Father God, show us the correct way to act.
Let us in all situations, follow your example,
holding to the values You asks of us,
to treat all, whether friend or foe,
with compassion and respect.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
Midday:
We pray God’s blessing on SEECAT group of churches.
Bring unity and continued fellowship, amen.
Evening:
Read the verses again from 1 SAMUEL chapter 24.
Reflect and then pray to this God in response.
Lord Jesus, You know what it is like to be falsely accused,
to turn towards Your enemies with grace.
We ask for that same grace.
Help us follow Your example
and the example of Your servant David,
when dealing with our adversaries.
Show us how to act justly and wise,
as You did.
