Mediation: as we pause with Jesus, we consider these words.
And then pray to this God we believe in.
Lord God, all glory to You.
we look to You for the strength
to do the correct thing,
despite who is watching.
Show us Your way,
and help us walk it.
In Your name, amen.
Midday:
Pray the words of the Lord’s Prayer as your own prayer today
Our Father, who art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the Kingdom,
the power and the glory, forever.
Amen.
Evening:
Read the verses again from 2 SAMUEL chapter 6.
Reflect and pray in response to what you read.
Lord Jesus, we spend time this evening,
in your presence,
praying for guidance.
We thank you for Your faithfulness.
