Morning:
Reading: 2 SAMUEL chapter 10.
Meditation: consider this passage as this new day begins.
“Do you think…?”
And then respond in prayer to this God, our God.
Lord God, omniscient King.
You know the intentions of all,
Help us not to jump to conclusions,
presuming we know what will unfold before us.
We seek guidance and strength
when faced with the unknown,
asking only for Your will to be done.
In Jesus name, amen.
Midday:
We pray God’s blessing on members of our LLT group of Elders.
May one heart and mind, focused on Your guide our worship centre, amen.
Evening:
Read the verses again from 2 SAMUEL chapter 10.
Reflect on all that is said here and then pray to this God we believe in.
Father God, Son Jesus, and Holy Spirit,
the Holy Trinity, You are our hope.
At the close of another month,
the month of the Son’s resurrection,
we glorify You in praise this evening.
We hope that we have shown honour to You,
that we have striven to let Your will be alive in us.
Enter our hearts this evening,
banishing our fears and renewing for a new month.
