Reading: PSALM 61
Morning:
Reading: PSALM 61.
Meditation: as we pause with God today, we consider these truths.
“For you, God, have heard my vows; you have given me the heritage of those who fear your name.”
And then respond in prayer with Him.
Lord God, you are the one most deserving of our praise.
We spend time this morning, in your presence,
make a vow, a commitment, to serve you this day.
You consider us family, including us as sons and daughters.
We can never repay you for that gift,
but with your help, we can strive to honour you
each moment of this day.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
Midday:
Take time to listen for God to speak with you – ask, seek, knock – hear!
We are here Lord, we knock, we seek, we hear, amen.
Evening:
Read the words again from PSALM 61.
Reflect and then pray in response to our God.
Lord Jesus, our brother and friend.
You are enthroned at the Father’s side.
Even from heaven, you know our hearts
through your Holy Spirit.
We keep our hearts and souls open this evening.
Open for you to work in us,
and to fulfil your will through us.
