Reading: 2 SAMUEL 12:1-14
Morning:
Reading: 2 SAMUEL 12:1-14.
Meditation: as we pause with God, we consider these words and events.
“The Lord has taken away your sin”
And then respond in prayer with Him.
Lord, our merciful King,
we do not deserve your forgiveness.
But still, you give it.
You have washed us clean of our guilt,
and purified us this day.
We are sorry for when we put our own selfish wants,
before the wants and needs of your church.
We humbly pray to you, this day, amen.
Midday:
Take time to listen for God to speak with you – ask, seek, knock – hear!
We are here Lord, we knock, we seek, we hear, amen.
Evening:
Read the words again from 2 SAMUEL 12:1-14.
Reflect and then pray in response to our God.
Lord Jesus, our just campaigner,
you spoke out against the sinful ways of this world.
When you saw injustice, you opened the eyes of the people/
We ask for that same confidence, and conviction,
for the courage to stand against the wrong that we see.
Please bless us with skill and tact,
showing us how to constructively address situations that need your divine intervention.
We surrender ourselves to be your voice.
In your name, amen.
