Reading: PSALM 51.
Meditation: pause and listen with God this morning. Consider what is said here.
“Oh, give me back my joy again; you have broken me— now let me rejoice.”
Then turn to pray to this God of mercy.
Lord God, you are the great redeemer.
You show us our weaknesses,
and shed light on our wrong-doing.
We rejoice for you break us down,
to build us up again.
We rejoice for in building us up,
we can again be your instrument.
To you we lift this prayer, amen.
Midday:
We pray God’s blessing on our wider SEECOS Church family.
Bring unity and love across our church, amen.
Evening:
Read the words again from PSALM 51.
Reflect and then pray to the LORD our God.
Lord Jesus, the ultimate love,
we come to your in our brokenness,
in trust that you will create within us
a newness of spirit and a clean heart.
Following your path, obeying only your way,
In your name we pray, amen.
