Reading: 2 SAMUEL 15:1-12
Morning:
Reading: 2 SAMUEL 15:1-12.
Meditation: as we pause with God, we take the time to consider these verses.
- Selfishness
- Conspiracy
And then pray in response to God.
Father in heaven, steadfast and just,
your perfect integrity has no equal in the world.
This morning, we bow at your throne,
seeking protection for our hearts.
We worship at your feet,
as our sign that we belong to you.
Hold our hands, Lord,
so that we may not be swayed away from you.
In Jesus name we pray, amen.
Midday:
We pray God’s blessing on our Church Prayer list.
For those in need, bring comfort, love and peace, amen.
Evening:
Read these words again from 2 SAMUEL 15:1-12.
Take time to reflect and pray to Father God.
Christ Jesus, our saviour,
you deliver us from the evil of this world.
We ask for discernment to know who to follow.
Many voices in this world sound friendly,
but you know the heart’s intention.
Please gift us with the wisdom to know who to follow,
and make known to us when our words and actions are not just.
In your name, amen.
