And then respond in prayer to this God, our God.
Lord God, you are the perfect Father and leader of mankind.
This morning, we reach out to you,
for clarity and wisdom to deal with conflicts in our lives.
Show us humility to admit our mistakes
and bravery to face disruption in our lives.
In Jesus name, amen.
Midday:
We pray God’s blessing on the Church across the UK.
Guide your church in wisdom, love and unity, amen.
Evening:
Read the set verses again from 2 SAMUEL 14:25-33.
Reflect on what is said here and then pray to this God we believe in.
Lord Jesus, our pathway to forgiven
and divine reconciliation.
We praise you this evening,
for the mercy you have shown us.
As we slow down this evening,
grow in us humility,
encouraging us, through your Spirit,
to spread this mercy to others,
creating reconciliation, not further discord.
