Reading: PSALM 90
Morning:
Reading: PSALM 90.
Mediation: we take time to consider these words this morning.
“Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days”
And then we pray to this God in response.
Lord in heaven, in our hearts and across this Earth,
we hail you this morning as King!
We spend this this morning,
with our friend, the King.
Lord, please satisfy the needs of our hearts,
so that we do not look for fulfilment in the wrong areas.
We lift up our voices to you, this morning and rejoice.
Then we will take that celebration with us,
and let the stories of your great works
be seen from what I do, and not just who I say Iam.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
Midday:
Pray the words of the Prayer for the Month as your own prayer.
Heavenly Father, Saviour Jesus and Holy Spirit,
protect us from our weaknesses
and deliver us from despair.
We look to you in our suffering,
and raise our voices in worship.
All praise is given to your name, amen.
Evening:
Read these set words again from PSALM 90.
Reflect and then pray to this God of ours.
Lord Jesus, we enter your presence with humble adoration,
praising you for your work in our land and in our lives.
At the end of another week, we rest within your safe embrace,
and pray that you favour will rest on us tool
For without the blessing of your Holy Spirit on our deeds,
the works of our hands would falter.
In Jesus, name, amen.
