Reading: PSALM 91
Morning:
Reading: PSALM 91.
Meditation: as we pause with God, take time to consider these particular words today.
“He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble,”
And then pray in response.
Heavenly Father, our eternal Saviour,
we call on you this morning,
and we know that you will answer.
Help us remember that faith in you
does not mean that trouble will never be present.
But it does mean that when trouble befalls us,
we will never me alone.
You will rescue us from us that danger,
giving us divine protection.
In your name, amen.
Midday:
We pray God’s blessing on the political leaders of our world.
Bring wisdom and integrity to those in leadership, amen.
Evening:
Read the verses again from PSALM 91.
Reflect and then pray to this God in response.
Lord Jesus, the refuge for your people,
there is no one in whom we can trust more than you.
You shelter us in your dwelling place,
comforting us in the warmth of your radiance.
You are the King!
You are our Saviour!
We praise you, our friend!
Amen.
