Reading: PSALM 106:1-23
Morning:
Reading: PSALM 106:1-23.
Meditation: consider this passage as this new day begins.
“They soon forgot his many acts of kindness to them… Even so, he saved them”
And then respond in prayer to this God, our God.
Lord God, mighty provider,
we turn to you this morning in thanks.
Thank you that you have saved us.
We praise you now in the hope that we will never forget
what you have done, are doing and will do for us.
In your name, we pray, amen.
Midday:
We pray God’s blessing on the work of UNICEF.
Bless the people of this organisation and open up opportunities for their work, amen.
Evening:
Read the verses again from PSALM 106:1-23.
Reflect on all that is said here and then pray to this God we believe in.
Lord Jesus, mortal once but now again immortal Savior.
You were here on Earth and was tempted
to show worship away from the Father.
Help us to be strong like you
and not swayed away by fleeting pleasures;
to remain faithful to you, our King.
In your name, amen.
