Morning:
Reading: PSALM 107:1-22.
Meditation: as we pause with Jesus, we consider these words.
“Let them praise the Lord for his great love and for the wonderful things he has done for them.”
And then pray to this God we believe in.
Lord God, we praise you!
We shout from our hearts,
proclaiming your greatness.
We pause this morning,
and say thank you
for the wonderful things you have done for us.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
Midday:
Pray the words of the Lord’s Prayer as your own prayer today.
Our Father, who art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the Kingdom,
the power and the glory, forever.
Amen.
Evening:
Read the verses again from PSALM 107:1-22.
Reflect and pray in response to what you read.
Our Saviour, our King,
we shout in worship to your throne.
We acknowledge your sovereignty this evening.
We know that you are the deliverer.
Lord God, break the chains that bind us,
in darkness, in misery, or in sin.
Break the chains, to lead us to glory.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
