Reading: PSALM 107:23-43
Morning:
Reading: PSALM 107:23-48.
Meditation: we take time to consider these words this Sunday morning.
“Let them exalt him in the assembly of the people”
And then we pray to this God in response.
Lord God, performer of loving deeds,
we join with the heavenly hosts as we praise your name this morning.
We seek fellowship with others who worship you.
Whether that be fellowship in person or online,
may our hearts be filled with a communion of souls
that we can count as brothers and sisters.
For you are the true Father of us all,
You life the needy and feed the hungry.
You still the storms to calm.
For these and many more wonderful works,
we praise you.
In Jesus, name, amen.
Midday:
Pray the words of the Prayer for the Month as your own prayer.
Heavenly Father, Saviour Jesus and Holy Spirit,
protect us from our weaknesses
and deliver us from despair.
We look to you in our suffering,
and raise our voices in worship.
All praise is given to your name, amen.
Evening:
Read these set words again from PSALM 107:23-48.
Reflect and then pray to this God of ours.
Christ Jesus, our Saviour,
we come into your presence.
We take time at the end of this week to reflect.
Have we followed your path?
Or have we stepped in our own direction?
Have we lost our courage to trust in you?
Have we forgotten to give thanks?
We worship you now.
Our hearts shout to you in praise,
leaning on the power of your Spirit to sustain us.
We rely on the wisdom of your words,
and ponder your loving deeds.
To you we pray, amen.
