“Help me, Lord my God; save me according to your unfailing love.”
And then turn to pray to God.
Lord God, steadfast in love,
we turn to you this morning,
asking for help for ourselves and others.
Lift us out of darkness
knitting together our wounded hearts.
In praise we pray, amen.
Midday:
We pray God’s blessing on the work of Christian Aid in our world.
Let your good news be heard through their work, amen.
Evening:
Read the verses again from PSALM 109:21-31.
Reflect and then pray to the LORD our God.
Lord Jesus, our Saviour,
we praise your holy name this evening.
You are the advocate of your people,
standing with us in our need.
You deliver us from those that wish to oppress us,
bringing freedom to our soul.
In your name we pray, amen.
