Morning:
Reading: PSALM 110.
Meditation: consider this passage as this new day begins.
The Lord has sworn and will not change his mind:”
And then respond in prayer to this God, our God.
Heavenly Father, ruler of all mankind,
we ask for wisdom in our lives to make correct decisions.
And ask for wisdom to be given to the ruler in this world.
May your will be done on this earth and no one else’s.
At your throne we worship, amen.
Midday:
We pray God’s blessing on the work of Red Cross in our world.
Let them work in safety and freedom, amen.
Evening:
Read the verses again from PSALM 110.
Reflect on all that is said here and then pray to this God we believe in.
Lord Jesus, mighty warrior,
the battle over death has been won.
But fighting is still seen each day on this earth.
We ask for your enemies to be brought low,
peacefully and for fighting to cease.
For you sit at the right hand of your Father,
in victory.
Praise be to your name, amen.
