Reading: PSALM 116.
Meditation: pause with God this new morning. Prayerfully consider these words written here.
“What shall I return to the Lord for all his goodness to me?”
And then turn to prayer.
Heavenly Father, all praise to you.
We thank you for all you give to us,
for the goodness that you lavish on your children.
This goodness is given freely,
not conditional on anything we do.
But still, we come to you this morning for guidance,
show us this day what we can do for you.
Guide us on your path.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
Midday:
We pray God’s blessing on believers in India.
Bring safety and freedom, amen.
Evening:
Read the verses again from PSALM 116.
Reflect and then pray to the LORD our God.
Christ Jesus, our brother and friend,
we come to you this evening in thanks.
We call out your name in praise,
meditating on the salvation we have through you.
Praise to you, our Lord, amen.
