Reading: PSALM 118:17-29
Morning:
Reading: PSALM 118:17-29.
Meditation: as we pause with Jesus today, we take time to consider these verses.
“I will not die but live, and will proclaim what the Lord has done.”
And then pray to Him.
Lord God, three in one, the holy trinity.
No gratitude could ever be enough
in response to your gift to us of eternal life.
Show us today how we can share that gift with others.
All praise to you on high, amen.
Midday:
Pray the words of the Lord’s Prayer as your own prayer today.
Our Father, who art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the Kingdom,
the power and the glory, forever.
Amen.
Evening:
Read the verses again from PSALM 118:17-29.
Reflect and pray in response to what you read.
Christ Jesus, our cornerstone,
let the rejection of you end in this world.
We proclaim your glory for all to hear,
shouting thanks to you,
forever and ever, amen.
